It was a great pleasure that, in addition to winning the “Best HR Management in the NGO Sector” award for the second time running at this year’s awards, the office also won the “Most Outstanding Non-Profit Organization Response to COVID-19” award. World Vision began working in Zambia in 1981, and we are a Zambian Non-Government Organization with a local Board of Directors. World Vision has a vast reach in Zambia, with long-term development projects called Area Programmes and short-term grant-funded projects spread across the country nationwide. World Vision Zambia implements development projects in the following key areas: health and nutrition; livelihoods and resilience; education; child protection; disaster management; and water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH).

World Vision trains local partners and staff on cash and voucher programming in Moldova
World Vision conducted a 5-day training for humanitarian workers on Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) in Chisinau, Moldova, bringing together 30 participants, including World Vision staff from Moldova, Georgia, and Romania and representatives from partners We World, HelpAge, Keystone, Communitas, Ave Copiii, and Food Bank.
