World Vision Somalia gains momentum as the Primary Recipient in Global Fund
World Vision’s Michael Messenger and Dr. Vianney Rusagara were in attendance during the Global fund Replenishment conference that was held in Montreal Canada from the 19th to 23rd September 2016. The conference successfully prepositioned World Vision Somalia as a Primary Recipient (PR) for Global Fund. Advocacy for prioritizing fragile context countries by Global Fund was fruitful and through this various donors pledged USD 12.9 billion toward the cause. The conference also positioned World Vision Canada as a development humanitarian partnership leader in a trustworthy and transparent manner.
