Tuesday, November 21, 2017

The humanitarian situation of Myanmar refugees in Bangladesh remains desperate and protection needs continue to rise. An estimated 620,000 new arrivals are reported as of 15 November, increasing the total refugee population in Cox’s Bazar to 832,112.

World Vision is working closely with the Government of Bangladesh and aid agencies to meet the needs of the refugees who fled violence in Myanmar.

Our six-month response plan aims to meet urgent humanitarian needs through food assistance, child protection, health and nutrition, Water Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), and shelter.
