A dream weekend for dozens of children from Cluj County

"Armed" with lots of patience, balloons and all the props needed to stage a series of educational games, the volunteers started off to meet with preschoolers and schoolchildren in a small village near Cluj.

Over 50 children have created pen holders that will be sold to Sykes employees and the money raised will be used for the benefit of all the children.

“I did four pen holders. The first one was a bit hard, but after that I was really good; I understood how to work with the glue and the rope. I really liked to decorate the pen holders”, explains Vlad.

Meanwhile, preschoolers were transformed into princes and princesses, while the volunteers prepared puppies and flowers from balloons.

“The thing that I liked most was the games we played outside. I also enjoyed very much when Laura made me a puppy from balloon”, says Abel.

Moreover, different games were organized in the school yard and every child was involved in lots of fun and educative activities. During the day, children received sandwiches, sweets, fruits and juice to complete the fairytale. 

After a day spent with these children, Sykes employees left with the promise that they would return later in the community to celebrate together the end of the school year.
