Partnership expanded between Microsoft and World Vision Armenia
On June 21, at the Microsoft Armenia Office, Microsoft RA LLC Country Manager Liana Korkotyan and World Vision Armenia Programme Director Zhirayr Edilyan signed an MOU to further expand their partnership in the areas of Education, Youth Empowerment and Refugee integration and employment.
“Microsoft is committed to education and youth empowerment and we’re proud to support this mission in Armenia. We’ve had very successful joint initiatives with World Vision Armenia in the past and we look forward to many more in the future,”-said Microsoft Armenia Country Manager Liana Korkotyan.
“World Vision is happy to continue collaboration with Microsoft; it allows us to boost our youth empowerment efforts, to reach out to more disadvantaged youngsters and inspire them for a dignified future,” said World Vision Armenia Programme Director Zhirayr Edilyan.
Microsoft and World Vision will collaborate to create and maintain Youth Employment Online Portal, as well as will jointly engage in various initiatives in the area of Education, Youth Empowerment and Refugee integration and employment. The efforts include implementation of youth programmes, online courses, contribution to efforts to instill self-improvement aspirations among students and unemployed youth, cooperation in organizing seminars, trainings, round tables, conferences and experience sharing programs.
