This document provides a summary of the results of the evaluation of World Vision’s (WVI) Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) project component to their “Nobo Jatra” (“New Beginning”) Program (NJP) in Bangladesh.

This is comparative research on the effectiveness of World Visions Social Accountability Approach in Strengthening Child Protection Services at local police stations.

This paper outlines World Vision’s multisectoral resilience framework, focusing on agri-food, health, and social protection systems in shaping resilience outcomes.

This report, “Advocates for Change: Asia Pacific Children and Youth’s Voices & Perspectives on Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction”, is the result of the collaboration between partners from different development organizations. This project commenced in May 2024 and culminated in the launch of the report in October 2024 by the Asia Pacific Coalition for School Safety (APCSS).

This review supports World Vision’s Resilience Framework, highlighting key themes like conflict, COVID-19, climate change, and the HDP nexus in building resilient systems.

The report highlights the results of strengthened Government officials and communities during CVA processes and mainly how the “Interface Meetings” held at the Union Parishad with the participation of community people and duty bearers created opportunities for public hearings and ensured service delivery accountability.

Child Marriage Global Review

This Working Paper is part of a research award supported by the Water for Women Fund of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). 

Disasters pose a substantial and growing threat to children and youth's well-being, and climate change is a rising threat to the environment and livelihood, including the survival and well-being of future generations. However, children and youth continue to be on the frontlines in combating climate change and building resilience in their communities. There have been consultative and robust research on child-centred risk reduction and school safety developed globally and in Asia-Pacific. Drawing from the findings, we highlight young people’s voices and perspectives in urging governments, DRR partners, and practitioners to undertake the following actions in line with the underlying goals of the 10th APMCDRR.
