World Vision West Africa Regional Leader commissions a water system for the people of Woloyili

World Vision West Africa Regional Leader, Madam Carla Denizard, visited the Wa West Area Programme in the Upper West Region.

The visit was an opportunity for the Regional Leader to commission a solar-powered mechanized water system to provide safe drinking water to the people of Woloyili community.

The system will prevent women and children from walking long distances in search of unsafe water and will contribute to eliminating water-related illnesses that prevent children from going to school and parents from attending to their livelihood and income-generating activities.
