More than three decades ago, a few compassionate individuals took a bold step to make a difference in the lives of Myanmar’s most vulnerable children. Their dedication gave birth to World Vision International Myanmar, an organization inspired by Christian values and driven by a vision of a brighter future for every child.

Since our inception, we have remained steadfast in our commitment:

Despite challenges, our unwavering dedication continues to support the most vulnerable children and their communities. Through a multi-sectoral approach and strong partnerships, we work to improve children's well-being through child-focused transformational development and disaster management.

Over the years, we have partnered with central and local governments, community organizations, and key stakeholders to drive sustainable change. Since launching our first health interventions in 1993, we have expanded our programs to include Education, Child Protection & Participation, Health & Nutrition, WASH, Economic Development, and Disaster Response & Disaster Risk Reduction. Today, we operate across 26 Area Programmes and manage over 20 grants and special projects, ensuring a lasting impact on the well-being of children and communities in Myanmar.
