Carmen Tse
Sr. Technical Advisor, Nutrition and Health
Carmen has 14 years of experience in nutrition programming in development and fragile contexts. In her previous role in World Vision’s Technical Services Organisation, she delivered nutrition technical assistance for Africa and Asia regions in project planning, assessment, design, monitoring, and evaluation as well as online and in-person trainings for Positive Deviance Hearth. Carmen contributed to the development of the Gender Transformative Framework for Nutrition with World Vision Canada and supported gender mainstreaming and assessments for health and nutrition projects in Cambodia and Mali. Prior to this, Carmen provided global nutrition technical support as part of the World Vision’s Nutrition Centre of Expertise. She facilitated the development of tools and guidance, including online courses for health and nutrition practitioners in over 30 countries. In a pilot project for World Vision Canada, she transitioned seven Asian country offices from paper to mobile phone data collection methods.
Her qualifications include a Master of Science from the Department of Nutritional Sciences and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Human Biology, both from the University of Toronto, Canada. Carmen has been accredited with Expert Level Certified Development Project Manager (CPDM) Level II from PM4DEV Institute.
