Route-Based Approach to Provide Financial Assistance and Protection to People on the Move

As part of the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW) 2025, we invite you to join a key session aimed at strengthening humanitarian response in Latin America. We will explore the route-based approach designed to provide financial assistance and protection services to families on the move in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.

This session will present the results, challenges, and lessons learned from the regional pilot, which integrates cash transfers and protection services at key points along migration routes. We will discuss the potential for scaling and replicating this strategy to help ensure the dignity and well-being of people on the move, especially children.
