HISTORY

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization of development, dedicated to working with children, their families and their communities to reduce poverty and injustice. Is dedicated to working with the world´s most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

World Vision was founded in 1950 by Bob Pierce preacher, to meet the needs of thousands of orphaned children by the war in Korea.
 Currently, the organization consists of a worldwide confederation of about 100 countries on five continents.

MISSION

Follow Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, to look for justice and testify under the good of the Kingdom of God.

VISION

Our vision for every child, life in all its fullness. Our prayer for every heart, the will to make this possible.

In El Salvador World Vision, also known as Visión Mundial is working since 1975. Currently, promoting development processes in 20 micro-regions, called Programs, in partnership with community organizations, private companies and government agencies, nongovernmental and international.
