Mr Peet Meng Lau (Singapore) has been a member of the WV Singapore Advisory Council since 2012 and is currently the deputy Chair. He graduated from Yale University in 1997 with Double Honours in Political Science and International Studies and pursued a Master’s degree in International Relations at the Cambridge University. He also holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2018. Peet was appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) in 2015. He has also served as Singapore’s First Secretary in the United Nations in New York and as the Deputy Director of Planning in the Ministry of Education. He serves as an Elder in Adam Road Presbyterian Church and oversees the Market Place Ministry. Peet is married to Ruth Wan, and they have three young children.
