World Vision Ghana signs Memorandum of Understanding with EIB Network to promote the well-being of children

World Vision Ghana and the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote well-being and development of children in Ghana. The MoU was signed by the National Director of World Vision Ghana, Laura Cristina DeValle and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EIB Network, Santokh Singh.
The partnership aims to raise awareness about children's rights and protection, and to advocate for policies that support the well-being and development of children in Ghana. It also aims to mobilise resources to support programmes and initiatives that directly benefit children and their communities.
Under the MoU, World Vision Ghana and EIB Network will collaborate on various initiatives, including radio and television programmes to disseminate key information, social media campaigns, and community engagement activities. The two organisations will also work together on campaigns to support children in need and during emergencies.
Both World Vision Ghana and EIB Network are committed to using their platforms and resources to make a positive impact on the lives of children in Ghana. The two organisations hope to create a greater awareness and understanding of the issues affecting children and mobilise support for their well-being and promote national development.
The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a new chapter in the collaboration between World Vision Ghana and EIB Network, and it is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of children in Ghana.
Speaking at a short ceremony to sign the MOU, National Director, Laura Cristina Del Valle said, that World Vision is a Christian relief, development, and advocacy organisation focused on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience the fullness of life.
“We help children from all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith. By 2025, World Vision Ghana targets reaching 3.3 million of the most vulnerable children with lifesaving interventions to enable them to enjoy life in all its fullness”, she said.
According to her, the partnership offers an opportunity for the two organisations to influence change and have a greater impact on the lives of the most vulnerable children, their families, and communities.

She thanked the management of EIB Network for making the decision to partner and collaborate with World Vision Ghana to influence a paradigm shift in community and national development with a focus on the needs of the most vulnerable children.
The Chief Operating Officer of the EIB Network, Santokh Singh, said the EIB Network is committed to ilmplenmentaction of this partnership agreement. Through its network of televisions, radios, and online platforms, the EIB Network will support the dissemination of critical information to help young people make informed decisions and choices.
“Children are the future leaders, and in Africa, about 70% of the population is below the age of 40. We need to keep developing these young ones”, he said. He thanked World Vision Ghana for its commitment to partner with the EIB network and pledged his outfit's commitment to supporting World Vision Ghana to achieve greater impact.
