Beacons of Hope

In Sierra Leone when a lockdown is pronounced by the Government, World Vision COVID-19 response heroes take to the street to compliment the government's social mobilization and community sensitization drive. It is clear that the government’s lockdown intent is aimed at saving lives in a country where most people are very poor, and where the health system will not be able to withstand the type of pressure that has seen even more developed countries’ medical systems struggle to cope.
