Martha Bedane is a member of the Global Advocacy and External Engagement team, where she work closely with regional and field offices to provide strategic support and foster collaboration across various advocacy initiatives. With nine years of experience at World Vision in advocacy and external engagement, she have developed a deep understanding on the importance of building and connecting knowledge and best practices across the partnership.

In her current role, she serves as a bridge, linking advocacy efforts from the local to the global level and vice versa. This interconnected approach ensures that grassroots voices inform global strategies, while global priorities are effectively contextualized and implemented on the ground. A key aspect of her work has been the creation and facilitation of Centre of Excellence (Community of Practice). These dynamic platforms bring together teams from multiple offices to engage in collective learning, share insights, and scale up best practices on critical advocacy topics.
