1. Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist Gembela South  Sudanese emergency response program in the preparation of annual operation plan and engage in timely submission of WASH emergency response projects monthly, quarterly and annual accomplishment reports;
  • Plan, organize, coordinate and supervise the activities related to WASH emergency at Gembela South  Sudanese emergency response program;
  • Prepare the annual detail implementation plan with budget and monitor its progress both in physical implementation and budget utilization;
  • Ensure the implementation of WASH emergency response is in compliance community needs, donor’s requirements, WV and government policies and national standards;
  • Assess the need and water resources potentials to carryout feasibility studies for the selection appropriate and safe water supply systems in the project areas;
  • Promote major cross cutting themes including environment, gender, protection, disability, and peace building;
  • Ensure the integration of water, sanitation and hygiene activities implementation along with Gembela South  Sudanese emergency response program;
  • Engage in and ensure that the appropriate coaching and mentoring etc. are practiced within the Gembela South  Sudanese emergency response program to enhance smooth staff relations and accountability

2. Qualifications Required: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrogeologist, Water and Environmental Engineering, or related fields                                       

3. Work Experience and Skill Required: Minimum 3 Years of related experience for MSc and 5 years experience for BSc
