"Let's run for equal opportunities" charity marathon held in Gyumri

On 11th of June, a charity run was organised in Gyumri called "Let's run for equal opportunities". Approximately 250 people participated in the marathon from both Yerevan and other parts of Armenia. 

The participation fees will be used to purchase sportswear for 20 most vulnerable children in Gyumri, encouraging equal participation in sports for girls and boys. 

Gyumri Run also promoted a healthy lifestyle by bringing the culture of marathon running.

The second part of the event was a photo exhibition by the families and youth of "Caring for Equalities" programme. 

Gyumri Run marks the launch of World Vision's “local sponsorship programme”, which aims to improve the well-being of most vulnerable children with the help of funds from individual and corporate donors.
