Grana Pu Selvi
REGIONAL HEALTH AND NUTRITION ADVISOR, SOUTH ASIA AND PACIFIC REGION
Grana is passionate about finding solutions to complex problems in health and nutrition, designing quality programmes, and generating evidence to enable stakeholders to improve the health and well-being of children. She provides support in quality implementation of health and nutrition initiatives, including capacity building. Grana successfully pioneered the Grandmother Inclusive Approach in Cambodia and was instrumental in scaling up the Baby Friendly Health Centre initiative in Cambodia. She most recently worked with WV Cambodia as the Technical Lead for the Integrated Nutrition Programme, overseeing Health, Nutrition, WASH, and Livelihood programmes, and was seconded to the East Asia region as the Health and Nutrition Advisor for a percentage of her time over the past year. Prior to that, she led nutrition programmes in WV India in various roles for nearly 8 years.
Grana holds two Master's degrees in Food and Nutrition from India, as well as a Master's in International Public Health from the University of Sydney, Australia and recently completed the ePost Graduate programme in Health Economics, Health Care Financing and Policy offered by the Public Health Foundation of India.
