Including Grandmothers in cambodia
In late 2020, World Vision Cambodia implemented a pilot project that is an adaptation to the Cambodian context of the Grandmother Change through Culture Approach. The project entitled Grandmother Inclusive Approach (GMIA) aimed at building knowledge, skills, and behaviors pertaining to children's well-being among grandmothers who provide primary care for children. And, to alleviate stress levels of grandmothers by facilitating community dialogue and building social support systems to address issues related to shifts in childcare roles. The project was implemented in 2 Districts in Kampong Speu province and Phnom Penh for over 12 months.
