Partnering for sustainable change for children

We create lasting impact and build a brighter future for children through strong partnerships with international donors, governments, and local organisations.

World Vision Myanmar is expanding its impact across the country, reaching more vulnerable communities through 20+ grants and special projects. By diversifying our donor base and strengthening partnerships, we have secured over USD 10.5 million to support those in need.

Our work is backed by strong collaborations with institutional donors, the United Nations, and international organizations. We also actively engage the private sector—including corporations, foundations, NGOs, and individuals—to drive lasting change and transform lives.

Our Key Grant-Funded Projects and Programmes

ECW

Education Cannot Wait (ECW)

We are deeply committed to providing quality education for children in conflict zones, especially during times of crisis. As a key partner of PLAN International Myanmar for Education Cannot Wait (ECW), the UN's global fund for education in emergencies, we work together to bring vital learning opportunities to children in need.

Through our collaboration, we aim to reach 16,584 children across Myanmar, including: 6,078 ECCD children (ages 3 to 5), 10,006 primary school children (ages 6 to 12) and 500 non-formal education children (ages 11 to 17).  Operating in 10 townships, this project has a total budget of $1,926,495, ensuring that children have access to education even in the most challenging circumstances.

Quality Basic Education Pathways for Children (QBEP4C)

WVIM is also partnering with UNICEF on the Quality Basic Education Pathways for Children in Myanmar (QBEP4C) project, funded by Finland, the EU, and DFAT. This initiative focuses on addressing the educational challenges faced by the most vulnerable children in Myanmar.

Running from June 2023 to May 2025, the QBEP4C project aims to reach: 7,078 children aged 3 to 5 years (50% girls) and 15,127 children aged 6 to 18 years (50% girls, with up to 3% children with disabilities). The project operates across eight townships: Einme, Myaungmya, Kangyidaunt, Thabaung, Pyapon, Chauk, Yenanchaung, and Aungmyaythazan.
