Jane Rachell Cari

MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Jane Rachell Cari is a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Specialist based in Davao, Philippines. Jane holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in clinical psychology. She joined World Vision in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience working with World Vision in both development programming and Humanitarian settings.  

She has intensive training in Mental Health in complex emergencies including Problem Management Plus (Group and Individual), EASE, Psychological First Aid, Counselling, and Psychotherapy. Her role involves supporting quality MHPSS programming for children, families, and communities and providing clinical supervision to World Vision offices implementing MHPSS work. Additionally, she provides psychological first aid and crisis interventions to staff, survivors, and partners in humanitarian settings through deployment.  

Jane also represents World Vision in global agencies, IASC – Children and Families working group. Furthermore, she is a trainer and lecturer on Stress Management, Anger Management, and Suicide Prevention.
