
Jane Rachell Cari
MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Jane Rachell Cari is a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Specialist based in Davao, Philippines. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in clinical psychology. Jane joined World Vision in 2007 and has more than 15 years of experience working with World Vision in both development programming and humanitarian settings.
She has received extensive training in mental health in complex emergencies, including Problem Management Plus (Group and Individual), EASE, Psychological First Aid, counselling, and psychotherapy. In her role, Jane supports the implementation of high-quality MHPSS programming for children, families, and communities, and provides clinical supervision to World Vision offices implementing MHPSS interventions. She also delivers psychological first aid and crisis interventions to staff, survivors, and partners in humanitarian contexts through deployments.
Jane represents World Vision in global coordination platforms, including IASC Children and Families Working Group. In addition, she serves as a trainer and lecturer on stress management, anger management, and suicide prevention.
