In 2024, World Vision International partnered with World Vision Laos and World Vision Zambia to pilot test the GMP Capacity Building guidance for community health workers. This pilot included the field testing of observation tools designed for use during monitoring and supervision visits. 

As part of the pilot, the Brief Resilience Scale questionnaire was administered to CHWs in both countries to establish a baseline measure of resilience. The analysis of this data is currently underway. 

Following the pilot, the GMP Capacity Building Guidance has been finalised and developed into CHW Training Materials for GMP, which are now available for use by World Vision Field Offices. These materials are intended to support implementation of the Ministry of Health's GMP programme in participating countries.
