8 women in Laos empowered by knowledge

On this day, World Vision Lao celebrates women from around the world.

When we give rural women accesses to health care services, education, productive agricultural and protection, we empower them. In turn, they contribute to alleviating child malnutrition and hunger while boosting their community’s ability to find sustainable ways of development. We believe that empowering women is an essential part of fighting poverty.

This year's theme is "Make It Happen".
