Village Savings Groups giving hope to the poor in Malawi

World Vision implemented the Wellness and Agriculture for Life Advancement (WALA), with support from the American people. Through the five year project, people in Malawi's Thyolo district have been trained to make monetary savings through Village Savings and Loans groups that have proven to be one way of defeating poverty in the rural areas
