World Vision Albania’s Impact Club met with French and German Ambassadors to Albania

His Excellency the Ambassador of Germany to Albania, Mr. Karl Bergner, and Her Excellency the Ambassador of France to Albania, Ms. Catherine Suard met with World Vision’s Albania Impact Club to mark the anniversary of the Élysée and Aachen treaties.

Together, for about 100 minutes, they discussed youth empowerment and young people’s role in peace-building throughout history, as well as today.

While talking about the reconciliation treaties between Germany and France, the ambassadors underlined that keeping peace requires focusing on what unites us and not on what divides us, while emphasizing that youth were key to establishing a mindset of cooperation then, and so are they now.

“What is good for young people, is good for the entire country; what is good for the entire country, is good for the young people,” – said Ms. Suard.

On the other hand, the young people of the IMPACT Clubs shared their stories of transformation and their dedication to their communities and society as a result of World Vision’s work.
