World Vision expresses sympathy for loss of partner organisation's staff

Two days ago, a car bomb exploded in the evening in northwest Syria near the Syria-Turkey border, which resulted in seven people killed and more than 60 wounded, according to World Vision’s partners. Our thoughts and prayers are with Orange, a partner organisation of World Vision, that lost two of its staff members in this horrific incident. We offer our sincere condolences to the families of those killed and we wish for a speedy recovery for the injured.

World Vision strongly reiterates the need to ensure the protection and safety of humanitarian workers and civilians under the conflict.
