World Vision Lesotho to Launch the ENOUGH Campaign to End Child Hunger and Malnutrition

World Vision International  Lesotho (WVL), a member of the global Christian humanitarian organization World Vision International, is proud to announce the launch of the ENOUGH Campaign, an ambitious three-year initiative aimed at ending child hunger and malnutrition in Lesotho. The event will be held at Hlalele High School in Rothe, Maseru, and will bring together key leaders, stakeholders, and community members to address this critical issue.

Special Guests

The ENOUGH Campaign launch will bring together a diverse and influential group of stakeholders, including the Hon. Minister of Health, the Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Food Security, and Nutrition, Key partners such as the Food and Nutrition Coordination Office (FNCO) will also be present. The event will feature inspiring contributions from a Child Campaign Ambassador, one of the Faith Leaders as a Campaign Champion, and a member of a Nutrition Club, showcasing personal and community perspectives. Local leadership and support will be represented by the Member of Parliament for Rothe and the Principal Chief of Rothe, while pupils, community members, and the World Vision International Lesotho (WVIL) team, along with members of Nutrition Clubs and other stakeholders, will unite to drive the shared vision of ending child hunger and malnutrition.

About the ENOUGH Campaign

The ENOUGH Campaign envisions a Lesotho where every child has access to nourishing food, improved food security, and resilience through prioritized services and resources. This initiative aligns with the global 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger).

Through multi-sectoral collaboration, the campaign seeks to empower communities to address food insecurity, reduce malnutrition rates, and build a sustainable framework for a hunger-free nation.

Speeches and reflections during the event will highlight the voices of key stakeholders, including:

  • A child campaign ambassador sharing their perspective on how hunger impacts young lives.
  • Insights from a faith leader and campaign champion, emphasizing the moral imperative to end child hunger.
  • Stories from a nutrition club member, showcasing community-driven solutions to malnutrition.
