Speaking during the handover ceremony, World Vision Zambia National Director Mr. Marc Nosbach said World Vision Zambia and its partners believe in the power of education.

“We have a strong conviction that education possesses the potential to elevate the quality of life for individuals, families, and entire communities. By educating a girl, we equip her with the ability to break free from the cycle of poverty and make meaningful contributions to society,” said Mr. Nosbach.

The World Vision Zambia National Director said, “With this collaboration, our mission is clear: to provide a safe, nurturing, and dignified environment for children who deserve every opportunity to learn and grow. Many learners here face challenges that can hinder their educational journey, from long distances to travel daily to inadequate facilities that compromise their well-being. With this new dormitory, we are not just providing a roof over their heads, but we are also opening doors to education, empowerment, and a pathway to achieving dreams and ambitions for the many girls that will go through this school.”

CFAO Mobility Country Automotive CEO Mr. Dino Bianchi said, “The new ablution facility is a crucial part of this project. It ensures that the girls have access to clean and sanitary facilities, which is essential for their health and dignity. Proper sanitation is not a luxury; it is a fundamental human right. With this facility, we are not only improving the girls' living conditions but also promoting good hygiene practices that will benefit their overall well-being.”

Mr. Bianchi added that this project is not an isolated effort. “The project is part of CFAO Mobility Zambia’s broader initiative to support education and community development. CFAO Mobility Zambia has so far supported seven schools in various provinces, including Southern, Eastern, Copperbelt, Northern and North-western, 6 of which have been in partnership with World Vision Zambia. Our goal is to create an environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.”

World Vision Zambia, in partnership with CFAO Mobility Zambia, remains dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of countless girls and boys and their families.

Key Highlights of the Project:

  • 48-bed capacity girls' dormitory, ensuring a safe and secure boarding facility for vulnerable girls who often had to walk long distances to attend school.
  • Ablution Block: To improve sanitation and hygiene, CFAO Mobility and WVZ contributed by providing an ablution block and Mechanized Water System for the school to support the new dormitory.
  • 24 bunk beds and 48-bed covers: World Vision Zambia also contributed these items to enhance the dormitory environment for students of Kapisha Primary School.
  • 48 Mattresses: provided through the Constituency Development Fund.
