Global Partnership for Education
World Vision has been a close collaborator with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) in recent years. Our collaboration works towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 to ‘ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’, by accelerating access to education, learning outcomes, and gender equality through equitable, inclusive, and resilient education systems fit for the 21st century.
At the country level, World Vision actively participates in or coordinates with other NGOs and CSOs in some Local Education Groups – education sector coordination platforms consisting of governments, donor agencies, civil society, and others – that GPE operates through to help ensure education planning and programs meet the needs of the most marginalised children and youth. World Vision is sub-partner in several GPE country programs and also works closely with the GPE Board and its related constituencies at the global level.
