Empowering Humanitarian Practitioners with AI: World Vision’s Participation in the Integrate Project

Child participation is both a process and an outcome. Children who are truly empowered to exercise self-expression, agency and voice in the development process not only contribute a critical perspective that helps strengthen community outcomes but also fulfil their fundamental child rights.

In Lubumbashi, DRC, children led activities on Universal Children's Day, teaching younger kids about their rights and defending them, promoting active participation.

In the Middle East, young people between the ages of 15–29 make up around 30 percent of the population and face the fastest growing youth unemployment rate in the world.

This article reflects on recent nutritional dialogues held in the DRC as part of the ENOUGH campaign to gather insights and opinions from communities, in order to provide sustainable approaches and solutions to malnutrition. The recommendations arising from the exchange sessions between World Vision and participants will guide decision-making during the implementation of projects and programs, with a focus on combating malnutrition.

World Vision's support services department met during a forum held in Lubumbashi to analyse their work and the challenges they face in order to improve their service to other departments. After 5 days of training, the agents agreed to implement the recommendations that came out of the forum.
