From FY22-24, World Vision International Haiti (WVIH) has made a significant and sustainable impact on the lives of Haitian children, families, and communities through a diverse range of programs and interventions. These efforts included Area Programs, grant-funded projects, and special initiatives targeting water access, hygiene, health, nutrition, livelihoods, child protection, and education.

WVIH provided over 25,837 people with access to clean drinking water, improved sanitation facilities for 3,547 households, and facilitated hygiene awareness programs that reached more than 37,000 persons. Comprehensive health interventions were conducted, including deworming 56,634 schoolchildren, maternal health education, and treating acute malnutrition for 623 children. WVIH trained 141 teachers in education, benefiting 8,400 students, and distributed resources to 26 schools.

The organization’s livelihood programs boosted agricultural productivity for nearly 1,800 families, distributed over $104,000 monthly through a voucher system, and delivered 232 tons of food to 82 schools. Additionally, WVIH empowered youth entrepreneurs, strengthened family businesses, and facilitated savings groups with over $540,000 in assets.

WVIH’s holistic approach has fostered economic resilience, improved access to essential services, and promoted child protection, making a transformative difference in the well-being of vulnerable populations in Haiti.
