World Vision Ghana Annual Report 2022
DownloadNot surprising, 2022 was very eventful, exacting, exciting and full of testimonies of God's goodness and mercy. World Vision Ghana had the unique honour of being the first National Office in the West Africa Region, to host the Triennial Council Conference bringing together all chairs of the Board of Directors, Advisory Council Chairs, Senior WVI Executives, National Directors and senior staff from World Vision entities around the world.
Earlier this year, World Vision Ghana organised a donor engagement forum entitled dubbed 'Bridging the Learning Gap at the Basic Level with Sustainable WASH Interventions for Supportive Learning Environment'. The event used the momentum of the UNESCO Sustainable Development for Education Award received by World Vision Ghana to engage potential donors, partners and government agencies, to position the organisation not only as a key player in education but also as a thought leader through its “Unlock Literacy Project”.
In mid-year, WVG successfully launched and shared its 2021 to 2025 Country Strategy with its stakeholders and partners for the first time. The strategy, entitled “Accelerating our Commitment to the Most Vulnerable Children,” aims to ensure that “by 2025, World Vision Ghana will have reached 3.3 million vulnerable children through empowered and resilient communities with a special focus on the most vulnerable children”.
