Afghanistan remains one of the world's most urgent humanitarian crises. In 2025, nearly 23 million people will need aid, with over a third of the population facing crisis levels of food insecurity. Conflict, climate shocks, economic collapse continue to deepen vulnerabilities, especially in rural communities.

World Vision Afghanistan works in 34 districts and over 3,200 villages across Herat, Badghis, Ghor, Faryab, and Nangahar provinces, reaching more than 1.2 million people in FY24, including over 547,000 children.

• 169,381 people accessed clean water, sanitation & hygiene
• 18 water systems built or restored
