World Vision Ghana has taken significant steps to improve access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) as a fundamental necessity for safe, healthy living and the socio-economic development of communities. These efforts span communities, schools and health facilities, and aim to empower vulnerable children and their households.

The positive impact of these interventions is particularly evident in the eradication of Guinea worm in Ghana. This achievement is particularly significant in Northern Ghana, where the disease was once more prevalent and devastating.
