World Vision's goal to increase the number of well-nourished Lao children is taking one step further, with the Community Health and Nutrition Systems Strengthening (CHNSS) Project in Khammouane, Savannakhet, and Attapeu Provinces.
This project funded by USAID aims to improve the skills and knowledge of children, adolescents, and pregnant women to demand and contribute to their health and well-being. The project consists of three main outputs:
- Strengthened capacity of Village Health Volunteers/Workers on Mother and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN) services and supervision from Health Centres
- Increased awareness of MCHN services and COVID-19 prevention and response among vulnerable communities
- Procured and distributed supplies and materials for CHNSS Centres (Health Centres)
