Youth Super Powers Handout
DownloadThe Youth Superpowers framework was developed as a World Vision and World Bank collaboration for the PYD model Youth Ready + Evoke. It describes six positive youth identities that reflect a set of practical skills, social-emotional competencies, mindsets and character strengths that empower a young person to respond to economic opportunities and contribute to the well-being of their communities in new ways. As youth progress through the curriculum, participatory learning activities invite them to experiment with new ideas, attitudes and behaviours. Within a safe and supportive environment, youth grow and change, and their sense of who they are and how they show up in the world evolves. The identities give clarity and language to meaningfully describe these changes as youth become agents of change in their own lives and communities.
