In FY-24, World Vision Eswatini made significant strides in enhancing the well-being of vulnerable children and communities through the effective integration of Gifts In Kind (GIK) resources across various sectors. The organization distributed essential items such as school furniture, medical supplies, notebooks, soap, solar panels, wheelchairs, new apparel, and bicycles among others. These contributions have led to improved educational environments, better health services, enhanced personal and public hygiene, increased mobility, and strengthened community resilience. By fostering partnerships and leveraging grant matching opportunities, World Vision Eswatini has not only amplified its impact but also bolstered its credibility and visibility, ensuring sustainable development and community growth.

In pursuit of accomplishing comprehensive child well-being objectives, World Vision Eswatini integrated Gifts-in-kind (GIK) resources into its priority sectors (technical programmes) and strategic partnerships. This is entrenched in the commitment to the most vulnerable children located across World Vision area programmes and non-area programmes. The initiatives have brought about transformational change to the children, families and communities being served. In FY23/ FY24, the office received 24 shipments from the USA, valued at $2,324,845.
