Disaster Management Overview 2024

This annual review of World Vision’s humanitarian efforts, illustrates the profound impact we achieved together in a year of historic challenges and change. In FY24, the humanitarian landscape demanded unprecedented resilience, flexibility, and innovation from organisations like ours. Our teams faced an array of increasingly complex crises, including protracted conflicts, climate-driven disasters, and mounting economic pressures that continue to deepen the vulnerabilities of children and families worldwide. Yet, even in the face of such daunting obstacles, we reached over 35 million people, including 19 million children, advancing our mission to bring life in all its fullness to the world’s most vulnerable.
