Growing up in the Climate Crisis: Lebanon

In the communities where children and adolescents reside in Lebanon, the consequences of climate change have become all too familiar. Rising temperatures, relentless heatwaves, and dust storms are a constant presence in their lives.

This study comprehensively explores the impact of climate change on the younger generations in Lebanon, addressing various aspects such as education, employment, health, gender-based violence, food security, and water security.

By capturing the perspectives of children and youth, this research aims to inform targeted interventions and policies to enhance their resilience, mitigate the adverse effects of climate change, and promote their overall well-being and future prospects.
