DownloadAt the 45th Ordinary Session of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, World Vision reaffirmed its commitment to advancing children’s rights across Africa. The statement commended the Committee’s leadership, supported Member States’ reporting efforts, and proposed the formation of a Technical Working Group on Child Hunger and Nutrition. It also highlighted World Vision’s ENOUGH Campaign, support for school feeding programmes, and raised concerns over ongoing humanitarian crises in Sudan and the DRC. World Vision further emphasized the need for increased resource mobilization to sustain child-focused interventions and called for collective action to place children at the heart of Africa’s development agenda.
