WV Bangladesh Annual Report 2021

In FY-21, through the dedicated efforts of over 1,000 staff and a network of over 5,000 community facilitators, World Vision Bangladesh has reached over 6.7 million people. Some significant interventions included - 28,895 vulnerable families provided with direct livelihood and asset support to help them overcome some of the losses they incurred during the pandemic. 8,919 malnourished children aged 6-59 months were well-nourished through the community-based nutrition programmes. 106,313 people received access to safe drinking water, and 131,897 people received access to safe sanitation. Together with the child and youth forum members, 374 child marriages were prevented.

Without the continued support of our generous donors and funding offices, national and local governments, and the communities we serve, none of this would have been possible. We thank them all for their partnership and the trust placed in us. With God’s leading, we will continue to fulfill our commitment to transforming the lives of children and communities in Bangladesh.
