Global Hunger Response Update - 4 October 2022
DownloadThis is the third situation report released by the Global Hunger Response (GHR) and our second 'monthly' sitrep, which highlights our key concerns and ongoing impact as of the end of August 2022.
Nearly 1.5 times more people (46%) – 50 million – are facing severe levels of acute food insecurity across the globe than 15 months ago. A massive hunger crisis is building as tens of millions are marching towards starvation, with children being at the forefront of this crisis. World Vision has reached nearly 16 million people, including 8.7 million children, since March 2021.
You can help children and their families overcome hunger by supporting our work here.
