Nepal COVER Project SitRep 13 (Updated 31 July 2020)

This is the final situation report of Nepal COVER Project. It includes all major achievements of the project including humanitarian overview in which the project was implemented, feedbacks received through an accountability mechanism put in place and the way forward.

Although all response activities have been concluded, World Vision will continue to address needs of the vulnerable children and communities through the adaptation of its regular programming. With the Government of Nepal partially lifting restriction on people movement and operations of most public services/facilities, it is expected that the number of people entering the country from overseas will rise in the coming days, which will also create a spike in COVID-19 case graph. The adaptation of regular programmes of World Vision in the coming days will continue to address the changing needs of population that may vary from nutrition to recovery of livelihoods of the most vulnerable communities.
