ENOUGH: Hope for a Hunger-Free Future
Imagine a world where every child has ENOUGH nutritious food to thrive. Sadly, this is not the reality for millions of children today. We are witnessing the most severe global hunger crisis in recent history, fueled by the devastating impacts of climate change, conflict, and economic instability.
World Vision is proud to launch the ENOUGH campaign progress report, a powerful testament to our commitment to ending child hunger and malnutrition in South Asia and the Pacific. This region faces a complex web of nutrition challenges, including persistent undernutrition, critical micronutrient deficiencies, and the alarming rise of overnutrition and child obesity. Through the campaign, World Vision has empowered children and youth to become agents of change. We've facilitated impactful child-led nutrition dialogues and stakeholder consultations, ensuring their voices are heard in vital health, nutrition, and food policy development. We've also strengthened the capacity of local stakeholders to drive effective policy implementation and launched dynamic multi-platform campaigns to promote healthier dietary choices.
As we approach the critical 2030 deadline for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the urgency to address child hunger and malnutrition has never been greater. The ENOUGH report showcases how World Vision mobilises resources and fosters collective action to achieve lasting change, ensuring no child is left behind.
