Public Spaces for Children: A Consultation with Children on their use of Urban Public Spaces
DownloadThis consultation aims to capture children’s perspectives and lived experience in the public spaces in their neighborhoods and cities. The questions focused on four different characteristics of that experience: proximity and accessibility, safety, cleanliness, usability and stability.
The voices and experience of children in these different urban contexts can help establish the right mapping mechanism and definition of public spaces for children, and developing principles and guidance to provide urban planning policy and design guidance.
