World Vision International Rwanda Annual Report 2022
DownloadIn 2022, we registered great results through collective efforts, which transformed the lives of children through Improved livelihoods, WASH, Child Protection and Education, among many others.
Over 165,000 children participated and benefited from World Vision’s Unlock Literacy interventions and Child Well-being Objectives. These included an increase in girls and boys protected from violence and an increase in primary school children who can read.
In WASH, improved access to potable water to all the healthcare facilities in our operational areas across Rwanda was one of our key highlights. Which consequently, reduced incidences of post-natal infection significantly, with all transitioning Area Programs reaching Universal Water Coverage.
World Vision International, Rwanda reached approximately 69,000 low-income households in the graduation process (15,700 under Building Secure Livelihood, and 53,300 extremely poor households under the Ultra-Poor Graduation projects).
All these achievements were made possible with the support from our Partners, donors and the Government of Rwanda.
