Achieving child well-being outcomes remains a global challenge due to the prevalence of child vulnerability, particularly in fragile countries. Childhood is a critical period in human development, which affects social and economic life achievements in adulthood.

Throughout history, women have been considered as the primary caregivers; it therefore follows that the empowerment of women is going to have an impact on the physical and emotional well-being of children. Protecting women’s rights is essential for both women and children. At the same time, protecting the rights of children, especially girls, is a crucial step towards gender equality.

This paper represents a compilation of research results carried out by World Vision in the countries of Iraq, Lebanon and Syria response countries including Syria, Jordan and Turkey. The research is aimed at measuring the extent of women’s empowerment and then examining its association with the well-being of children in structured families in Middle Eastern fragile states
