Winter emergency- struggling families receive aid

Severe cold, snowfall and blizzards are causing widespread suffering and fatalities across Romania and impoverished families have to choose between buying food or wood for heating due to ongoing economic hardship and lack of job opportunities. More than 225 communities across the country have been affected by the unprecedented cold and snow and more than 6,000 schools have been closed. World Vision staff are responding by providing warm blankets and food to the most vulnerable families.
