Sarah Bauler

Sarah Bauler, MPH, has 22 years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating global health and nutrition interventions in over 20 low-income countries in Africa and Asia. She started her career supporting complex humanitarian emergency programming, including programmes that addressed child wasting, in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Pakistan, Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, Niger, Indonesia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Sarah now serves as World Vison's Health and Nutrition Research Director, providing technical leadership to WV's implementation research initiatives, including simplified approaches for wasting treatment and decreasing pediatric exposure to harmful environmental pathogens. Sarah also teaches Global Health at Appalachian State University and is pursuing her Doctorate of Public Health in Health Equity and Social Justice at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
