Flood assessment

A family from Bo Jong Village is registered for assistance. In the provinces, Bonthe district, one of the hard to reach areas in Sierra Leone is one of the districts severely hit. 24 communities along the Jong River were hit, including Bo in Jong Chiefdom. The team returned after talking to inhabitants and seeing that there is a great need in Bo Jong Village. ‘Men, women and above all, children are in dire need as the water have washed away their belongings and their farms have being submerged by water," said Musa Mansaray, Development facilitator, Jong Area Development Programme.
